Simple Media Networks is focused on both consulting services and contract design. We are a well rounded team which can support all aspects of product design and development. We have done full design of software and hardware for iPod interfaces, pre-amplifiers, MOST-CAN bridges, power amplifiers, and power systems. We are also providing development support in these areas, as well as helping customers to find and fix problems with audio noise, EMC, EMI, etc in their existing designs.

John Maddox is the Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Simple Media Networks, Inc.
John brings over 20 years experience in product design and development. From 2001-2006 John served as an Engineering Manager for Oasis Silicon Systems, founding a new development center. In this role, he built and lead a development team which developed products based on Oasis silicon until their acquisition in 2005 by SMSC. From 1991-2000 John worked for Bose Corporation Automotive Systems Division holding positions of System Engineer, Software Engineer, and Engineering Manager. He developed the first programmable DSP based equalizers for use in automotive systems development, and was involved in design of the first two generations of DSP based amplifiers from Bose. He managed the european theater development team for 3 years.
John studied Signal Processing, Control Systems and Robotics at Purdue University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering 1985. In addition John has studied Power Electronics at University of Wisconsin, as well as Acoustics, and Digital Signal Processing at Bose Institute of Technology.
